The project involved the construction of a combined heat and power plant fueled with natural gas extracted from the Lubiat\u00f3w Crude Oil and Natural Gas Mine (“LMG Project”). The combined heat and power plant produces electricity, medium-pressure and low-pressure steam, boiler water, central heating water and process water for the needs of the Central Facility at the mine. The primary unit generating electricity and heat is composed of 4 gas engine units. The heat generated by the combustion engines is used to produce steam in recovery boilers. The electricity is produced for the own needs of the CHP plant and the needs of Lubiat\u00f3w mine.
