Signing of the contract for the construction of a modern cogeneration system in Bielsko-Biała

On May 6, 2025, CONTROL PROCESS S.A. signed a contract with TAURON Ciepło Sp. z o.o. for the implementation of a strategic investment project for the largest district heating provider in the Silesian-Dąbrowa conurbation. The contract concerns the construction of a modern cogeneration system at the Combined Heat and Power Plant in Czechowice-Dziedzice (Bielsko-Północ EC2).

The scope of the contract includes the design and turnkey construction of a modern combined heat and power (CHP) plant. The facility will comprise three cogeneration units, a water treatment station, a heat accumulator, auxiliary infrastructure, and all necessary installations and construction works. The installation will be integrated with the existing CHP infrastructure and will enable the simultaneous generation of electricity and heat in a cogeneration process.

CONTROL PROCESS S.A. is responsible for the comprehensive execution of the project – from developing the design documentation, through equipment delivery, installation, and commissioning, to the handover of the completed facility for operation.

The value of the investment will exceed PLN 350 million gross (PLN 287 million net), with completion scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2027.
