Construction of cogeneration systems at ZEC Katowice

CONTROL PROCESS S.A. was responsible for the construction of cogeneration installations in gas-fired CHP plants powered by methane gas at the CHP plant in Katowice. The contract included the design, delivery, assembly and start-up of gas engines, gas boilers, gas-steam boilers and complete facilities.

Facilities completed:
“Wujek” Hard Coal Mine – Duration of works: 2014-2015, Electrical power: 1.5 MWe
Unit no. VI, “Murcki” – Duration of works: 2013-2015, Electrical power: 5.5 MWe
Unit no. XII, “Śląsk” – Duration of works: 2013-2014, Electrical power: 2.97 MWe, total power 5.88 MW
Unit no. IX, “Wesoła” – Duration of works: 2013-2014, Electrical power: 3MWe
