Contract awarding for CERAD facility

At the headquarters of the National Center for Nuclear Research, POLATOM Radioisotope Center, on December 12, Habilitated Doctor Krzysztof Kurek and Doctor of Engineering Dariusz Socha signed a contract for the construction of the facility under the name CERAD - Center for Designing and Synthesis of Molecularly Targeted Radiopharmaceuticals, with the Vice President of CP OK2 Sp. z o.o. from Kraków, company belonging to the Control Process Capital Group, represented by Mr Tomasz Wiatr.

The CERAD investment scope is designing, construction and commissioning of facility with technical infrastructure, internal installations and laboratory equipment (including supply and installation of a cyclotron, i.e. device for accelerating protons and alpha particles to 30 MeV and deuterons up to 15 MeV). The investment will result in extending the scope of works and researches carried out in the Center, including  production of radiopharmaceuticals which has wide range of applications in medicine.
